Manoj Idnani is Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He completed a Bachelor in Science (Honours) Physical Therapy in the year 2006 from Delhi University, India. While working part time evenings, he also completed 2 years post-graduation Masters in Physiotherapy in 2008, with a specialization in Orthopaedics. Before coming to Canada in 2015, he had over 9 years of work experience in diverse healthcare institutions i.e. private multi-speciality hospitals and clinics. He has been trained in diagnosing and treating Pelvis and Spinal dysfunctions. He also has been trained in Mulligans technique to restore normal joint mobility. Non-specific low back pain and Tennis Elbow were his two thesis topics for clinical studies. He has also been involved in providing Sports Physiotherapy on-field for soccer, cricket, rugby, basketball, etc. He got trained in Toronto for treating patients with vertigo and dizziness i.e. Vestibular Rehabilitation. Outside of his work, Manoj loves to spend his free time with his family and friends. He also loves adventure travelling and playing sports.
Tracey attended the University of Waterloo for her BSc (Hon) degree in Kinesiology. She is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Initially, she started in the fitness industry teaching classes, fitness testing, and planning exercise programs for both on land and in the water. Later, she started work in rehabilitation and has now worked in both private and OHIP clinical settings for many years. She indulges her interest in the various facets of kinesiology by attending conferences and taking courses. Some of these courses include: functional abilities testing, worksite assessment, gerontology, exercise for people with cancer, and soft tissue release. She enjoys meeting people and looks forward to working with them in their recovery. Outside of work, Tracey enjoys hiking, keeping active, and sharing a healthy lifestyle with her family and friends.
Stephanie is a Certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association as well as a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She is also a member of the Ontario Athletic Therapists Association and a certified First Responder. Prior to joining Arthritis and Sports Medicine Centre, Stephanie worked at Restore Physiotherapy in Oakville and Ortho Rehab Group in Brampton. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario, Stephanie continued her education in the Sports Injury Management program at Sheridan College. She then completed her diploma in Massage Therapy at the Ontario College of Health and Technology. Stephanie has also completed courses in Soft-Tissue Release, Myofascial Release, Fascial Chain Work, and Kinesiotaping. Stephanie has also worked with amateur lacrosse teams as an Athletic Therapist from midget to Senior B including 4 national championship minor field lacrosse teams as well as 1 box lacrosse national championship team. Stephanie has also contributed to the host medical staff for numerous Skate Canada events.
Hailey is a Registered Kinesiologist who has lived in Hamilton since 2016 following moving from Alberta. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta in 2016 where she focused on Adapted Physical Activity. During her time at the UofA Hailey had the opportunity to work with varsity Basketball teams, lead COPAT and PARE police testing, and perform athletic and cardiovascular testing. She continues to build her knowledge with courses such as Kinesio Taping and Athletic Taping and Strapping. Hailey has spent time working in a wide range of health care and wellness settings including gyms, private physiotherapy clinics, Special Olympics, and the UofA's Steadward Centre. She is also a Personal Training Specialist (CanFIt Pro-PTS) and prides herself on being able to provide excellent exercise prescription that can be performed by any population. On her days off you will find Hailey teaching group fitness classes, playing sports like soccer, and taking the dogs she watches on adventures.
Heather is a Massage Therapist registered with the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario and has been a part of the Arthritis and Sports Medicine team since 2011. Heather has been a part of the DSD Management team since 2007 where she began her practice as a Certified Athletic Therapist. She completed her Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy) Degree at Sheridan College, Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in 2007 and has since worked in multidisciplinary Physiotherapy clinics within the Hamilton area. After years of practicing as an Athletic Therapist, Heather was eager to further her knowledge and skills and enrolled in the Advanced Massage Therapy program at the Ontario College of Health and Technology in Stoney Creek. After successfully completing her Diploma in Massage Therapy in 2011, Heather has dedicated her time to the practice of massage and now works full time as a Registered Massage Therapist. Drawing on her experience as an Athletic Therapist, Heather is able to compliment her massage practice with the appropriate application of stretching and strengthening exercise to help her clients get back to a healthy and active lifestyle.
